Director Steven Soderbergh breaks from Hollywood convention to make a startling piece of deconstructive cinema.

Set in a burb of financially depressed Ohio, "Bubble" follows three low-wage workers at a local doll factory who become participants in one of the most subtle love triangles imaginable. 

A cast of non-professional actors perfectly imbue the troubled characters whose awkward friendship comes crashing down with a seemingly unmotivated murder.

Soderbergh artlessly presents America's concealed poverty that drives the paltry ambitions of many of its citizens.

"Bubble" will make history as the first film to be simultaneously released theatrically and on DVD.
